Something Short

Been a good past few days. Hung out with my mom and dad. Saw some old friends. Went shopping, got some nice things. Have been doing yard work this morning, raking leaves and mowing so much fun...

Catching Up

Borrowed a friends car, went into town and visited my cousin. Can't believe she is graduated and living on her own already. Been talking to family and some friends. Seems like a lot has changed in five months, yet its still the same. I'm a little down about life. It seems like everyone is expecting so much from me right away. I just want down time for a good week at the least. And it doesn't help that I have no idea what I'm going to do now. I suppose first things first, a vehicle! It is unfortunate that I need to buy one of these money pits.
I cooked supper tonight, the first real meal I've cooked since May. Loved it so much, and the food turned out excellent. Apricot chicken, rice, and some fresh garden veggies. Even made chicken stock with the bones. It was a really good day.

Here at Last

Got home yesterday. So strange being home. My bed was amazing to sleep in last night, even slept in. My desktop needed lots of love too, so many updates to catch up on. Five months away from home, it seemed like such a long time but it passed by so quickly. Going to miss all the friends I've made so much. Just glad I have Facebook to keep in touch. What to do now...?

One More Day

We've been cleaning the kitchen for two days now. It's mostly done, just have to do touch ups tonight and tomorrow morning. A bunch of people left today, just a little while ago actually. Just me and another girl in the dorms tonight. I leave tomorrow afternoon. It will be good to go home. It's way too quiet here right now.

Last Days

I've been living and working in Waterton National Parks since May and I'm done in two days. Going back home. Its been an experience for sure. I've gone hiking 25 times, seen numerous animals and met tons of very nice people. Going to miss my co-workers and friends. It's going to be strange going back home. Not sure what I'm going to be doing with myself after this either. I'll figure something out. Off to another adventure I hope :)

Trying this out...

I've never blogged before, so this is going to be very different for me. I guess I'll try it out and see how it goes, hopefully well. We shall see.
